A 20-year-old Iowa woman is sounding the alarm on social media after doctors brought out “her crazy cancer symptoms”-an act that almost killed her.
“If you guys have ever had something like this, please run in the ER and advocate for yourself because I would have died if I wouldn’t like, to push these doctors to control me,” Kenzie Dryden said in a last tick.

Dryden was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in April 2023 when she was 18 years old, reported des mines. Cancer affects the lymphatic system.
The first sign that something was not okay when she noticed her right eye would not open all the way.
“My right eye looked like I was like a broken doll,” she said.
The University of Miami student rushed to urgent care, where her right -wing student withdrew in size – but some doctors rejected her concerns.
“I went to five different doctors … and they said it was all stress,” she said. “It’s called Horner Syndrome when a student is bigger than the other, but they’re like,” Oh it’s just stress, you’re a college student, it’s nothing. “”
It was not until she went to the BasCom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami who finally made a CT scan and found a tumor on her chest.
“Doctors were like,” we don’t know how you are alive, we don’t know how you didn’t feel this, “she said, before adding that some of her other symptoms included weight loss on her face and constant exhaustion.
“I just started Kimio right away, and they said if I didn’t start, I would have died in two months,” she said.

Now, she is happy to trust her intuition and is encouraging others to do the same.
“Please listen to your body and protect for yourself,” she said. “Sometimes doctors are wrong.”
Viewers thanked her for sharing her video, but also expressed shock that so many medical professionals shake her warning signs.
“No doctor should never give up on uneven students,” one viewer wrote. “It is a very clear sign that something neurological is happening.”
“Why do most doctors reject everything like stress or anxiety?” another commented.
Some may say that her experience echoes a disturbing trend where concerns about young women’s health are minimized or poorly diagnosed.
For example, 23-year-old Lucy Younger told her seizures and hallucinations were because of anxiety, just to discover later that she had a brain tumor.
Similarly, the constant numbness of 21-year-old Molly Smith is attributed to dehydration and anxiety before being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Doctors also initially told Tenis Pro Gaby Dabrowski not to worry about a lump in her left breast – which turned out to be breast cancer.
