Unlike the lucky New Yorkers that can take a bath in their kitchen, I, like many others, do not have a bathtub.
Lush has a unique solution – but it will cost you $ 75 for 30 minutes happy soaking.
The cosmetics giant offers a private, self-leading treatment from the bathroom in his bathroom on the upper side of the East, complete with a selection of their sealing products.
“Really really the latest experience,” The post Ruby West told the granddaughter of a lush founder who provides the company for research and development.
Treatment with the right name “Book-A-Bath” comes with a rotating theme, and when I visited the spa one frigid in the afternoon, it was inspired by the movie “Wicked”. The topic will stay in place until November 2025 to coincide with the publication of the second part of the film.
“With the wicked, we are hoping to create a sense of magic inside the bathroom,” said West, the main mind of the experience, which explained that Lush collaborated with Universal to bring the room to life.
The experience began with a glass of “spa water” infected with cucumber and an official invitation to the lush “ozmopolitan” bathroom (yes, really). After trading my blazer and my boots for a bath and slippers, I got into Emerald City.
Inside the pure clean treatment room, the atmosphere was as warm and attractive as it was magical. The décor was suitable for the sorcerer himself, with emerald green tiles, gold accents and glowing reflections of candlesticks dancing across the surface of a tub with claws.
Included in the treatment was a pot of lush face cleansing, specially chosen for my skin type, and an exclusive soap grass of the Emerald city formed in the form of an iconic film group.
Each session also comes with an exclusive bathroom bomb, which West said was the original inspiration after the whole experience.
“We are the creator of the bathroom bomb, my aunt made them in her posterior garden,” she explained. “We really wanted to tell everyone that this is what we do better.”
Lush created the bathroom bomb “Pink Fizzes Good With Green” specially for the wicked “Book-A-Bath” treatment. Inspired by the magic duet of Glinda and Elphaba, it contains an aromatic mixture of rose, cedar wood and vanilla.
Compliment products were neatly arranged in a golden veil of metallic bath, which also maintained terrycloth myths for washing facial products and a fabric strip.
Beyond the tub, a keyboard table displayed more inspired things: body sprays inspired by Glinda and Elphaba, hair ties, spool pins and extra skin products such as toner, face moisturizer and body lotion.
After a bathroom technician finished strolling me around the room, I remained in full intimacy. Downing into the warm and soothing water, the sounds of the city and the winter and the cold were melted as I threw the bath bomb in the tub, seeing it lit and turned the water a soft pink.
For the next 30 minutes, I let go of everything – feeling as if I could oppose gravity.
Lush and universal came together to create the last voice inspired by the lean, meticulously designed to evoke different emotions at every stage of experience.
“When they come in, we want a sense of fear,” West said. “When we arrive in the bathroom, we want to promote a sense of happiness, so the soundtrack slows down slightly, allowing customers to completely dive into the aroma of products and those beautiful ingredients during their cleaning.”
As your time in the bathtub ends, the music collects the pace again. “We are hoping to remove the mood and have fun,” West said. “We want them to leave at an altitude, so this is when you hear the soundtrack really peak.”
Before I knew, a bell fell, snapping me back in reality. I climbed from the bathtub, crashed into lush, moisturizing face and body toner, and returned to my robe and slippers again.
In the lobby, which was created to feel like a cozy villa in the English village, I was greeted with an Oz -inspired green drink.
I was quiet, fantastic smell and my skin felt incredible after its first proper soaking in the month (because let’s just admit it, the shower just doesn’t compare it).
“No one else does like us,” West said. “With the bath being so fun, it was so natural to create these comprehensive, universal -backed environments, for people to enter and experience something new you will see nowhere else.”
At $ 75 for just half an hour, the “book-Banje” treatment is not exactly a bargain, but it is a strong choice for New Yorkers who want some time bath. Plus, soaking in warm water comes with undeniable health benefits – soothing heat melts muscle tension, relieves stress and leaves you feel calm.
If you are looking to get a visit to your bathroom on a scale, Lush also offers three more treatments, including their popular “Facial”.
