We can all use one day bath.
But if your schedule – or wallet – is stopping you to get some professional caresses, at least you can turn your home into an hour or two.
Michele Sabia, Director of Massage at Oasis Day Spa, shared a slight self-massage technique by posting-plus her recipe for relaxing peak and relieving pain.
Bathroom time update
Sabia said one of her favorite ways to release is creating a bathroom -like bathroom experience.
“I love the candle on the bathroom and fill the tub with the right amount of hot water,” she said.
Instead of using the bubble bath, it whipping a salty and aromatic mix that promotes healing.
“I add 1 ½ cups Epsom salts – magnesium helps to relax muscle and ensure relief of pain – along with 1 cup of baking soda, which leaves soft soft skin and has a earth effect,” she said. “Some drops of lavender essential oil complement the experience, as its soothing aroma calms the mind.”
To fully acquire the benefits, it recommends stretching and resting for at least 20 minutes.
Take care of your feet
“For those without a bathtub, a foot of foot can be just as effective,” Sabia said. “Just find a large container to moisten both feet in hot water, then add Epsom salts and lavender essential oil.
“As you inhale, place a soothing atmosphere with candles, soft lighting and bath or meditation music.”
Whether you are washing or simply giving your legs a break, a little self-massage is her next step for total-especially relaxation if you are on your feet for most of the day.
“After soaking, treat your feet in a self-massage with a little virgin olive oil and a few drops of your favorite essential oil,” she said. “Massage from the heel to the fingers, using circular movements around the heels and the bones of the foot.”
Debulate and breathe
For “ultimate relaxation”, Sabia recommends wearing a face mask and putting cucumber slices on your eyes-a de -ffing-known trick-while do a deep breathing exercise.
“Deep breathing stimulates the body’s ‘rest and digestion system’, promoting relaxation and a greater sense of peace,” she said. “A little daily breath can do wonders for both the body and the mind.”
Its method includes three steps:
- Focus on your third eye (center of forehead) for three deep breaths, imagining it by filling with golden light.
- Move the light to the chakra of your heart (in the center of your chest) and take five deep breaths.
- Bring the light down only to your belly button, taking 10 deep breath to fill this space with golden light.
